Photography was really fun this year and I hope to continue this in the future. For my final, I chose to take photos at a cemetery. Most people steer away from them but I on the other hand, like going and giving my condolences. I tried to capture the beauty of it and not the morning and sadness. To capture the essence of the beloved people who passed away, I put a small orb signifying their presence. I would have to say that my favorite photo is the last one. It’s dark but then you have the light of the glowing white spheres. I did many things to each photo and I seriously can’t remember. A lot of it you can see in the photo itself. All in all, I had fun and it’s definitely a good experience.

Great concept. I remember when I was high school cemeteries was what everyone shot. I guess it was the cool thing to do. Anyways, Maria, when you shoot you do a very nice job with great concepts. There is some good emotion going on in these shots, as well as nice angles that you shot from. Apply yourself and great things will happen, I know it.
